MESSAGE FROM MINISTER

Education is the basic right of every child and a very important aspect for progress of any nation. In the modern era no nation can survive without quality education. Human Resource Development is the central pillar of the government policy, and education plays a fundamental role towards the formation of human social capital.

Pakistan is signatory to many international education agreements like Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For a reporting body the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has established Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) that will play the role of central agency for consolidating and analyzing the information in respect of education data and align all its programs to achieve the targets of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG-4). Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) will forge a national consensus with respect to a long-term agenda for education, research, development, dissemination through collaborative efforts.

I am sure that this initiative by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in establishing Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE) will improve the state of education in the country to ensure holistic development and will patronage in education progress.
