Zero Out of School Children campaign in Islamabad

Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE)-Ministry of Federal Education in collaboration with JICA launched the research report on Best Practices Captured from 'Zero Out of School Children' Campaign in Islamabad Capital Territory in a gracious ceremony hosted by the Vice Chancellor of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on campus. The three month campaign mainstreamed about 71,500 Out of School Children in ICT; giving them new hope for education and a bright future. The beneficiary children expressed their heartfelt happiness and gratitude for this brilliant opportunity. The JICA AQAL Chief Advisor,  the DG PIE, VC AIOU, and Secretary MoFEPT highly appreciated this great initiative and vouched to continue the initiative to scale this campaign across country in partnership with provinces and development partners. All partner entities, including public,  private, and nonprofits, graced the ceremony and received souvenirs of appreciation from the Secretary MoFEPT.
