NAT 2023 Report Launching Ceremony

The Pakistan Institute of Education-PIE successfully launched its findings of the #NAT2023 report.

Speakers included DG PIE Dr Shahid Soroya, Secretary Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training Pakistan Mr Waseem Ajmal Chaudhry, Special Secretary MoFEPT Mohyuddin Ahmed Wani, World Bank Pakistan Lead Economist Education Team South Asia Region Toby Linden, followed by a panel discussion on assessing the learning environment with panellists VC Allama Iqbal Open University Dr Nasir Mahmood, Senior Education Advisor FCDO Ms Saima Anwer, Assistant Professor Lahore University of Management Sciences-LUMS Dr Jessica Albrent, and Assessment Manager CPE Ms Georgina Glasby. Students and teachers from one of Islamabad’s premier schools also took part in the event.

The National Achievement Test (NAT) is a sample-based assessment in a range of subjects at Grade 4 and Grade 8 level in Pakistan. It also includes perception surveys with head teachers, teachers, parents and students enrolled in Grade 4 and 8 that capture learning environment.
