Pakistan NFE Annual Statistical Report 2021-22

Federal Secretary Mohyuddin Wani launched the Non-Formal Education Statistics Report 2021-22, indicating a rise in NFE centers, teachers, and girls' enrollment. Emphasizing the need for modern teaching methods, Wani praised PIE's efforts and highlighted the importance of data-driven reports for policymaking. The report reveals 27,763 NFE centers with 919,128 students, of which 59% are girls. With 81% female teachers, NFE centers are integrating out-of-school children into mainstream education. The report also notes the transfer of NFE centers to the School Education Department, resulting in 296,843 students entering the general education system. Additionally, the report highlights the ALP (Middle Tech) program, aiding in the continuation of education beyond primary levels. Overall, the report underscores the transformative impact of NFE in providing education access and improving literacy rates, particularly for marginalized communities.
