Workshop on Item Writing for NPT 2024

The Pakistan Institute of Education, in collaboration with Cambridge (CPE), recently organized an important workshop on item writing for NPT 2024. The workshop had some distinguished guests, including Dr. Qaiser Alam, the Chairman of FBISE, Uzma Yousaf, Country Director of Cambridge, Miss Riffat Jabeen Director academics from the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Saqib Farooq Coordinator of World bank, Pakistan, Miss. Farhat Shafeeq and Ghazanfar Ali from PCU. Experts from across Pakistan and foreign Cambridge experts Georgina Dunkly, Rachel Tablot and Paul wright also participated. During the workshop, Muhammad Shakeel Khan, Director of the National Assessment Wing (NAW), discussed the workshop's objectives. At the end, Dr. Muhammad Shahid Soraya, Director-General of PIE, praised the hardworking staff who made the event possible. The workshop on item writing for NPT 24 represents a significant step toward enhancing the quality of educational assessments in Pakistan. The workshop officially began on November 6, 2023, and is scheduled to continue until November 10, 2023
