Research Advisory Group (RAG) Meeting.
We are pleased to share highlights from the recent **Research Advisory Group (RAG) Meeting**, jointly organized by the **Pakistan Institute of Education (PIE)** and **DARE-RC** at PIE’s auditorium. This gathering brought together **academic leaders, practitioners, policymakers, and government representatives** to discuss how data-driven research can address key education challenges in Pakistan. The event also welcomed the leadership of the **What Works Hub**, marking a significant step toward collaborative efforts in education research. This partnership aims to generate **evidence-backed insights** to shape policies and improve learning outcomes across Pakistan. While this is a work in progress, the discussions have laid a strong foundation for impactful research and meaningful change. Together, we are committed to transforming education through collaboration, innovation, and evidence-based solutions. **Dr. Shahid Soroya** shared PIE’s progress over the past year, ongoing research projects, and future plans.
**Ms. Saima Anwar** from RC-DARE presented ongoing work and plans for joint research collaborations with PIE.
**Mr. Salim Salamah** from FCDO commended the role of RAG and PIE in generating evidence to support informed decision-making.
**Mr. Naveed**, Joint Education Advisor, appreciated PIE’s recent contributions to education statistics, assessments, and the national education policy framework.
